On December 8-9, 2018, the closed alpha test of Anthem (the online multiplayer action role-playing video game) will begin.
The Anthem Closed Alpha is available on PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, and PC. But you can sign up to play on one device only.
BioWare (Anthem’s developer) and EA (Anthem’s publisher) unveiled some interesting details on the Anthem closed alpha, like what to expect, their goals, and how limited it will be than the pre-launch demos.
The Anthem closed alpha is limited. It will only be for a small group of players.
And even though it will be running on December 8-9, 2018, there will be limited multiple play sessions in two days which means that Anthem will be up and down. Expect Anthem to not be available during certain times.
The BioWare team warned players that during the Anthem closed alpha, they will be tweaking matchmaking, server load and some other important settings on the game. This might not provide a stable experience. As to what parts of Anthem the test will show off, they haven’t said anything about that yet.
NDA is required to be signed before playing the Anthem closed beta as well. The NDA agreement states that players cannot stream Anthem anywhere, nor share details about it.
